The safari issues should be resolved. apparently the nested HTML comments caused safari to throw a wobbly.

The CC license is on the graphics themselves, I'm merely the maintainer of the wordpress template. Stripping it down would mean new graphics, which would doubtlessly not fare as well.

Have you considered making a stripped down version specially for the new theme viewer? It will promote your work and drive some traffic your way.

Sorry about that, Sunny, defensio didn't trust you. If anyone does upload the hippies, it would be in violation of the John's license. That's the reason I don't link to the supposed french translation of it, since it technically catches GPL from Scott & Andy's code.

It will probably decrease the direct traffic, but not cut it off completely - Tarski has a link to both the author and the theme, like the plugins do. I get a fair amount of traffic from my plugin page, despite it not being suitable for anything higher than 2.0.11. I'm assuming that it'll also be possible to add a donation button, like the plugins.

Good for the community (yes!) but possibly bad for my traffic (sigh). Still, I'm glad to see an inclusion of themes/theme authors in to something officially WordPress (dot org).

No, that theme.php stuff is based on WP 2.1 or something. if you're up-to-date with your wordpress install (2.5.1 at time of writing), you shouldn't have any issues.

Make sure you have Promised Land and Sandbox installed in their respective folders (and make sure the sandbox theme is in a folder called sandbox). If that fails, can you give me a URL for your blog so i can take a look?

iPod's are crap any way you slice it. There's no way of transporting music/files with them, as they're not MSD's.

When you live in Canada you have no choices since the best online mp3 services are US. So, we get to pick iTunes or the Windows DRM alternative. Summing up, have an apple you have to go with iTunes. In a global world it doesn't seem fair....

Hi! I love this theme and I really want to use it on my website.
There's just one question I've got.
I'm using WP 2.5.1 and am using the identicon plugin. That has also an build-in gravatar-option. But in this theme there's also a gravatar option. Is there any way I can remove this from the theme? I've been looking through the files, but I can't find it.
The identicon-plugin gives you the option to get the gravatar of people or instead of the boring default gravatar and identicon.

interesting, i've never seen a setup that didn't include the http:// prefix. The reason I included the http:// is to make sure that there aren't www's left over. if you're find/replacing without the http://, you should replace
'dev.site.local/temp
with
'example.com

And yes, it's very important to make sure you have the same database prefix.

In some instances, the SQL data will not contain the http prefix, so it's better to just find and replace without the http://

Also, it is imperative that the prefix used while creating the database both on your local server/old site and online/new site are the same. WordPress by default uses wp_ as the prefix (in wp-config.php), but if your any reason you changed it, you should use that very prefix on the new install. Adam, correct me if I am off here.

Unfortunately that was a limitation of the competition (not being able to change the widgets). Since that's no longer an issue, I'll work on making a widget that's more compatible.

I love this theme. Very beautiful.

I have a question about your first widget footer area. If, say, my archives are too big, the standard box shown crops out the entire listing so readers can't get to all the archives. If I use a drop-down format instead, then the footer area has a large gap between the bottom of its widgets and the top of the next footer area.

Is there any solution to either of these problems?
